🏛 About the Role
The Consultant – Medical Officer will be responsible for ensuring proper healthcare services for students and staff at GNLU. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Director and Registrar and play a crucial role in maintaining the university’s healthcare system.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Provide medical consultation and ensure healthcare services for students and staff.
- Maintain medical records of patients regularly.
- Report any serious health concerns or potential hazards within the university.
- Conduct health awareness programs and provide necessary medical guidance.
- Oversee the administration and management of the university’s healthcare center.
- Offer suggestions for improvement of medical facilities.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the university.
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized institution/university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Must be registered with a State Medical Council.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience or specialization in emergency medicine from a reputed private or government hospital.
