🏹 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Educational Qualification:
➥ Retired Officer of Deputy Collector grade.
✅ Other Requirements:
➥ The candidate must have basic knowledge of computer applications, as per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
➥ The candidate must be proficient in Gujarati and/or Hindi.
✅ Nationality:
➥ The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Tanzania.
➥ For persons in categories (b) to (ch), a certificate of eligibility from the Government of Gujarat is required.
➥ The candidate must be domicile of Gujarat state.

✅ Submission of Online Application:
➥ The details filled in the application form will be treated as final.
➥ If there is a discrepancy during documents verification, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.

➥ The application fee must be paid online through net banking.
➥ After making the payment, the candidate must keep the application number and transaction ID safely.
➥ The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstance.
✅ Photograph:
➥ The candidate must keep additional copies of the photo uploaded in the online form, as it will be required during subsequent phases of the recruitment process.
✅ Multiple Applications:
➥ If a candidate applies more than once for the same post, all their applications may be liable to rejection.
✅ Qualification Validation:
➥ Educational qualifications and experience will be considered as of the last submission date of online application.
➥ Conversion certificate from recognized University should be provided if grade is given instead of percentage.
✅ Experience:
➥ Experience must be supported by proper certificates (including period of service and duties performed), not just an appointment letter.
➥ Experience will be recognized only if proper documents, pay scale, and promotions are presented.
✅ Category:
➥ The candidate’s category at the time of application submission will be treated as final and cannot be changed afterwards.
✅ Mobile Number:
➥ The candidate must submit a working mobile number, which will be used for future communication.
➥ The RMC is not liable if messages are not delivered due to invalid phone number.

➥ The candidate must self-fund their expenses for exams/interviews.
➥ The final decision on selections and criteria will be made by the Municipal Commissioner, Rajkot.
➥ The appointing authority may cancel or withdraw the advertisement at any time if necessary.
➥ Providing false information at any stage of the process will lead to disqualification and legal action if required.
➥ The Municipal Commissioner’s decision will be final and binding.
➥ The final selection will be made according to merit and policy decided by the authorities.
➥ If more applications are received than expected, a written/online test or interview may be conducted to shortlist the candidates.
➥ The candidate has no grounds to challenge this procedure.
