🎓 Eligibility Criteria
✅ Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be graduates from a recognized University / Deemed University established by law of the Central or State Government.
- Final semester students of the last year of graduation can also apply.
⚠️ If the final exam is not held or results not declared, SPIPA’s decision will be final regarding admission eligibility.

📝 Entrance Examination Structure for SPIPA UPSC Training 2025-26
A. ✨ Stages of Examination
The SPIPA Entrance Examination will be conducted in two stages, as outlined below.
B. 📘 First Stage – Objective Type Exam (MCQ Based)

⚠️ Important Notes for First Stage:
- Both papers will be MCQ-based and conducted in Gujarati and English mediums.
- Negative Marking: 33% of the total marks per question will be deducted for wrong answers or selecting more than one answer.
- Merit List: Will be prepared based on the combined score of Paper-1 and Paper-2.

Candidates who have paid the application fee can download their Hall Ticket for the first stage exam from http://ojas.gujarat.gov.in starting:

D. ✍️ Second Stage – Essay Test
Candidates shortlisted based on the combined marks of Paper-1 and Paper-2 (General Studies-1 and CSAT) as per category-wise merit and minimum qualifying marks will be called for the second stage – Essay Test.
- The list of selected candidates will be published on the official SPIPA website.
- The Essay Test is tentatively scheduled for August/September 2025.

- Marks: 100
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Task: Write one essay within a limit of approximately 1000 words

E. 📊 Final Result Criteria
The final merit will be based on:
- First Stage:
- General Studies-1: 200 Marks
- General Studies-2 (CSAT): 100 Marks
- Second Stage (Essay Test): 100 Marks
- Total Marks: 400
Only candidates who appear in the Essay Test will be considered for final merit. The final merit list will be published on the SPIPA website.
Afterward, based on the prevailing reservation policy of the Gujarat Government, candidates will be allocated seats at the respective training centres as per merit, category, and training centre preference.

F. 🏨 Hostel Facility
Candidates who secure admission to the SPIPA Ahmedabad Training Centre may be eligible for hostel accommodation, subject to availability and institutional rules.
