UPSC CSE Eligibility Criteria
For the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Foreign Service, and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
For other services, a candidate must be either a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan
UPSC Civil Services Age Limit
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2023.
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1991 and not later than 1st August 2002.

UPSC IAS 2023 Education Qualifications
A candidate must hold a Graduate degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
In simple words, a candidate must hold a Graduate degree or possess an equivalent qualification from any of the Universities to be eligible to apply for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Notification 2023.
UPSC CSE 2023 Notification – Selection Process
Applicants are shortlisted for the Civil Services (Main) Examination through the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type).

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/-
