ઉમેદવાર ભારતમાં કેન્દ્રીય અથવા રાજ્ય અધિનિયમથી અથવા તે હેઠળ સ્થપાયેલી અથવા સંસ્થાપિત યુનિવર્સીટીઓ પૈકી કોઈપણ માંથી અથવા તે તરીકે માન્ય થયેલી અથવા યુ.જી.સી.એક્ટ-૧૯૫૬ ના સેક્શન-૩ હેઠળ ડીમ્ડ યુનિવર્સીટી તરીકે જાહેર થયેલી કોઈપણ યુનિવર્સીટીમાંથી મેળવેલી કેમેસ્ટ્રીની અનુસ્નાતકની પદવી ધરાવતો હોવો જોઇશે અથવા કેન્દ્રીય અથવા રાજ્ય અધિનિયમથી અથવા તે હેઠળ સ્થપાયેલી અથવા સંસ્થાપિત યુનીવર્સીટીઓ પૈકી કોઇપણ માંથી અથવા તે તરીકે માન્ય થયેલી અથવા યુ.જી.સી.એક્ટ-૧૯૫૬ ના સેક્શન-૩ હેઠળ ડીમ્ડ યુનિવર્સીટી તરીકે જાહેર થયેલી કોઈપણ યુનિવર્સીટીમાંથી મેળવેલી ફૂડ ટેક્નોલોજી અથવા ડેરી ટેક્નોલોજી અથવા ઓઈલ ટેકનોલોજી અથવા બાયોટેકનોલોજી અથવા એગ્રીકલ્ચર સાયન્સ અથવા વેટરનરી સાયન્સ અથવા બાયોકેમેસ્ટ્રી અથવા માઈક્રો બાયોલોજી અથવા મેડિસીનમાં સ્નાતકની પદવી ધરાવતો હોવો જોઇશે. અને ગુજરાત મુલ્કી સેવા વર્ગીકરણ અને ભરતી (સામાન્ય) નિયમો, ૧૯૬૭ માં ઠરાવ્યા પ્રમાણેની કોમ્પ્યુટરના ઉપયોગ અંગેની પાયાની જાણકારી ધરાવતો હોવો જોઇશે. અને ઉમેદવાર ગુજરાતી અથવા હિન્દી અથવા બન્ને ભાષાનું પુરતું જ્ઞાન ધરાવતો હોવા જોઈએ.
