On August 31, 2023, the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) provided updates regarding its operations. The commission is headed by a chairman and comprises seven members.

The process of candidate selection for GSPC 2021 is predicated upon their performance in the following stages: the preliminary stage, the main stage, and the final interview.
As of August 31st, 2023, GPSC 2021 is conducting various recruitment examinations for Class I, II, and III vacancies within the Gujarat State Administration. The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of range forest officers, assistants, and other vacancies. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may peruse the notification and apply online.
The examination will be conducted in both English and Gujarati. The Gujarati and English papers in the main exam will be presented solely in their respective languages. In the event of any questions regarding the interpretation of the syllabus, the interpretation of the English language shall be deemed final.
